Pat McGee wrote his first song, “Rebecca,” which is still a crowd favorite, in 1994 and formed the Pat McGee Band in the spring of 1996 to back his acoustic-driven shows. Since the release of his first album, From the Wood (1995), Pat and his band have gone on to sell over three hundred thousand albums and have shared the stage with Jimmy Buffett, The Who, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, The Allman Brothers, and Willie Nelson.
Aside from Pat McGee, the band includes guitarist Brian Fechino, Chardy McEwan, Chris “Crix” Reardon, and pianist Jonathan Williams. Past band members include John Small, Al Walsh, and Todd Wright. The band suffered a tragedy when drummer Chris Williams died in his home in 2006.
The Pat McGee Band has released ten albums under the Giant, Warner Bros., and Kirtland labels respectively. Most recently, the band independently released 2011’s No Wrong Way to Make It Right, which features a single that shares the album’s name as well as “Juliet” and “They Think We Are Not Going to Make It.”
