Of Mice & Men

Not to be confused with the famous John Steinbeck novel, Of Mice & Men the band was formed in 2009 is Costa Mesa, California. Attributing their band’s name to their parallels with the novel’s message of perseverance, Of Mice & Men is a hardcore, heavy metal band known for their screaming vocals and heavy guitar riffs. Notably reaching 1,000,000 listens on their Myspace after just two months, Of Mice & Men have shot to stardom in the metal world behind popular frontman Austin Carlile.

Since their formation in 2009, Of Mice & Men has released two studio albums, Of Mice & Men in 2010 and The Flood in 2011. The Flood reached #3 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and #28 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, easily making it the more successful of the two albums. In addition to their album success, Of Mice & Men released three singles, then later videos for the songs “Second & Sebring,” “Those in Glass Houses,” and “The Depths.” Of Mice & Men shows are typically very high energy and intense, with your typical hardcore metal crowd.
