Markus Schulz Bio
Born in Germany in 1975, Markus Schulz is a trance DJ and producer who currently resides in Miami, Florida.
Although he still regularly performs, Schulz may be best known for founding EDM label Coldharbour Recordings, as well as his weekly online radio show, “Global DJ Broadcast,”
Schulz has released several dozen remixes and singles, as well as nearly 20 full albums and complications in the trance and deep trance genres, including “Without You Near,” “Progression,” “Do You Dream?,” “Ibiza ’06,” and “Los Angeles ’12.”
His extensive tour schedule has included a number of festival performances, such as the Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Monster Massive, Together As One, Ultra Music Festival, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Schulz was also a resident DJ for seven years at The Works in Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2010, DJ Magazine ranked Schulz 8th in their annual Top 100 DJ Poll. DJ times ranked him America’s #1 DJ in 2012.
He is also the founder of Schulz Music Group, which manages Mr. Pit, KhoMha, Adina Butar, and Grube & Hovsepian, among other trance DJs.
