Lang Lang is a pianist from Shenyang, Liaoning, China. Born in 1982, this young virtuoso has earned the support of fans all around the world with his classical performances.
At just five years old, Lang Lang performed his first recital at the Shenyang Piano Competition and won first place. At 14, the rising star was a soloist at the inaugural performance of the China National Symphony.
Throughout his career, Lang Lang has performed with some of the best orchestras in the world including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
In 2003, Lang Lang released his studio debut, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn: First Piano Concertos. In 2011, he returned to his inspiration with Liszt – My Piano Hero.
