John Digweed

British house DJ John Digweed broke onto the scene in 1993 and became a pioneer in the evolution of electronic dance music and the development of his own label, Bedrock Records, for which he regularly seeks the best mixes from around the world. Dubbed on his website as a "mothership of creative ingenuity and integrity," Digweed has also released several hot mix compilations on labels such as Renaissance and Global Underground.

Digweed is most known for the songs "Heaven Scent" and "For What You Dream Of" featuring Nick Muir, the second half of his mix production team. He represents an older generation of electronic dance music and was spinning beats long before EDM gained popularity in the U.S.

Despite the rapid changes in mainstream techno music, Digweed has remained faithful to his original style. With each one of his revolutionary beats, he constructs a fantasy that allows the listener to get lost inside his abyssal mind. He is most known for his minimalist tech house and deep house styles.
