Born in 1979, Hilary Hahn is an award-winning violinist from Lexington, Virginia. Specializing in chamber music and Bach, this young artist has played with some of the best orchestras in the world including the New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
At just three years old, Hilary Hahn studied music at the Peabody Institute. By age ten she was training at the Curtis Institute of Music.
In 1991, Hilary Hahn debuted with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and signed with Sony Music at just sixteen years old in 1996. A year later, she made her studio debut with Hilary Hahn Plays Bach.
Hilary Hahn released Silfra in 2012 featuring new works for violin and prepared piano.
