Florence + the Machine is an indie rock band comprised of Florence Welch’s iconic vocals, producer and DJ Isabella Summers, and a rotating list of collaborating musicians. With the debut album Lungs in 2009, Florence + the Machine made millions of fans and topped charts around the world, making it one of the best-selling albums of 2009 and 2010. The band continues to make hit records and their 2011 album Ceremonials debuted at #1 in the UK and #6 in the US.
In 2011 Florence + the Machine was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best New Artist. And in honor of the band’s explosive popularity, the video for “Dog Days Are Over” won the MTV Music Video Award for Best Art Direction in 2012.
