Her Grammy Award wins include five Best Country Vocal Performance Awards, two for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals, and Best Contemporary Folk Album for Wrecking Ball in 1995, among others. She was voted number twenty-two on VH1’s 100 Most Influential Women in Rock and Roll in 1998 and number five on CMT’s 40 Greatest Women of Country Music in 2002.

Harris is one of the most sought-after backing vocalists and duet partners in the business and has worked with an impressive list of performers, including Roy Orbison, Guy Clark, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Dolly Parton, and John Denver.
