Chad Freet Sep 11, 2012 I discovered the power of Devo about 10 years ago...so I'm bit of a late bloomer, but man....these guys are AWESOME and they put on an amazing show. I mean, even if the only song you know is "Whip It", by the end of their set you'll be dancing and jumping up and down with excitement. I saw them at a festival with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Billy Idol (who was awesome as well), and didn't know what to expect. The stage went dark and these guys came out and started marching and chanting to lyrics to "That's Good" and I was instantly hooked. Another Devo highlight is "Jocko Homo" which a great song, but even better live...with a sea of Devo fans fist pounding and singing "Are we not men? We are DEVO!" Since that festival, I've seen them 3 more times and even bought a red Devo energy dome. Haha...
