Pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat first gained popularity by releasing her music on MySpace, where she was eventually discovered. With her peaceful vocals and acoustic guitar, Callait attracts fans of all ages who seek modesty and optimism in their music.
Caillat made her mark in the mainstream pop scene with her debut album, Coco (2007). Her first single, "Bubbly", hit number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Her next two singles, "Realize" and "The Little Things" also made a splash on the charts. She went on to tour with The Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, and John Mayer. During that time, Caillat co-wrote the track, "Breathe" from Taylor Swift's Fearless. In 2008, she won the Billboard Music Award for Rising Star of the Year.
Breakthrough (2009), Caillat's sophomore album, features the hit singles "Fallin' for You" and "I Never Told You". She won the BMI Pop Awards for Song of the Year ("Bubbly") and Songwriter of the Year. Later that year, Caillat released two Christmas songs for the holiday season – "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and The Beach Boys' "Merry Christmas, Baby."
In 2010, she took home two Grammys – one for Album of the Year (as a featured artist on Taylor Swift's Fearless) and one for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals ("Lucky" with Jason Mraz).
Caillat released her third album, All of You, in 2011, and it includes "I Do" and "Brighter than the Sun". In December of the following year, she released Christmas in the Sand, which consists of collaborations with Brad Paisley, Gavin DeGraw, Justin Young, and Jason Reeves.
