Comedian, radio commentator, and television personality Adam Carolla was born in Los Angeles in 1964. While working odd jobs and studying improv comedy, he befriended Jimmy Kimmel, who has been a longtime collaborator. In 1995, Carolla, with his distinctive voice, was offered a co-hosting gig on the hugely popular nationwide radio show Loveline, where he dispensed sex and relationship advice alongside “Dr. Drew” Pinsky. In the meantime, he created and co-hosted Comedy Central’s The Man Show with Kimmel, which aired from 1999 to 2003. Carolla left Loveline in 2005 to broadcast the syndicated radio program The Adam Carolla Show. Carolla has appeared on a series of shows, ranging from his own talk show Too Late with Adam Carolla in 2005 to Family Guy, on which he voices Death. Recently, Carolla has been a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Julianne Hough, and The Celebrity Apprentice. Two of his comedic books, In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks… and Not Taco Bell Material, have been New York Times bestsellers. Adam Carolla is also an amateur racecar driver and co-owner of Amalfi restaurant in Los Angeles.
