Between the three of them there is no shortage of jogging and biking paths, picnic spaces, outdoor eateries, and sunbathing spots.

If you’re looking for a little beach action – don’t miss out on North Avenue Beach or Oak Street Beach where volleyball, swimming, and sun-tanning are all full time activities.

If you want to find great outdoor events in Chicago, you don’t have to look that far either. For music there’s Lollapalooza, Pitchfork Music Festival, and the Chicago Blues and Chicago Jazz Festivals. For food, there’s Taste of Chicago, which is the world’s largest food festival. And for sports, there’s the Chicago Marathon.
