Northwestern Wildcats Football

The Northwestern Wildcats are a Division I NCAA football team that plays games at Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois. The stadium first opened in 1926, was renovated in 1996, and has a seating capacity of 47,130 for Wildcats games. The Cardiac Cats, as they’re sometimes known by, play in the Big Ten Conference and have been lacing up their cleats since 1876. Due to the wealth of powerhouse teams in the conference, the Wildcats have barely scratched the surface when it comes to conference championships or bowl victories. Notable Wildcats players include Pat Fitzgerald, Edgar Manske, Paddy Driscoll, Otto Graham, Luis Castillo, Barry Cofield, and Zach Strief. Wildcats' tickets aren’t the hardest to get as their stadium is massive and the team rarely fields a contending squad.
