The Les Turner ALS Walk4Life is an annual charity event held in September on Chicago’s Lakefront, beginning at Soldier Field. Home to the Chicago Bears, Soldier Field is in the Loop neighborhood of Chicago with direct access to Lake Michigan.

Started by the Les Turner ALS Foundation in 2002, the Les Turner ALS Walk4Life is a 2-mile walk that draws thousands of walkers each year and has raised over $6 million since its inception. In addition to the walk, the event also features entertainment such as a moonwalk, appearances by Chicago sports mascots, and a performance by the Jesse White Tumblers.

The Les Turner ALS Walk4Life does not have an official entry fee, but all participants are encouraged to raise at least $100. Registration for the Les Turner ALS Walk4Life can be found online.
