Mojoes (Joliet, IL) Concert Venue

Downtown Joliet is often a destination for casino visitors, and, like all gambling sites, it has its own large music venue – Mojoes. Mojoes is a two-stage space kitted out for touring national acts, usually hard-rock, metal, and punk bands. The main space has two floors, three bars, and sophisticated light/sound capabilities, while a VIP room, decked out in crimson, contains its own bar. In all, about 1,000 people can fill the space. Big names such as Slipknot visit, and the rest of the Mojoes schedule features many up-and-coming acts and bands with passionate cult followings. Cover bands of acts like the Dave Matthews Band and various headbanger groups round out the concerts at Mojoes.

Mojoes is a young space, opened in 2010. Even on non-concert days, the VIP “Red Room” serves as a lounge, with a resident DJ spinning hip-hop. Patrons can get the cool downtown lounge vibe without paying city prices, with the bonus of free garage parking.
