City Hall Plaza Event Space

Located in the heart of downtown Boston, City Hall Plaza is a prime spot for hosting outdoor concerts, festivals, and rallies in the summer. Passersby who work in the surrounding commercial area stroll past and stick around for Mayor Menino’s Wednesday night concert series, or grab dinner from one of the food trucks parked nearby.

Concerts at City Hall Plaza are primarily easy listening and soft rock, with performers playing R&B, jazz, and soul classics.

Since they’re free, patrons can sit on the steps in front of the elevated stage for as much or as little time as they’d like to.
