The Phantom Gourmet reviews great restaurants throughout the New England area. Every year on a Saturday in November, these culinary critics present the massive Phantom Gourmet Wine & Food Phest. With a motto of “Snobs need not apply,” this celebration of food and wine brings out the foodie in everyone.
Hosted at the Boston Center for the Arts, the Phantom Gourmet Wine & Food Phest features tastings of over 30 wines from around the world as well as 10 of the Phantom’s favorite local dishes and desserts. Wines featured at the festival have included selections from Barefoot, yellow tail, and HobNob Wines. Local food highlighted at the Phantom Gourmet festival have included Wicked Kickin’ Savory Cheesecake, Dunn Gaherin’, Cabby Shack, Martino’s, and Cakes by Erin. After filling up on great food and wine, tear up the purple dance floor on your way to immortalizing the night at the photo booth.
Tickets to the Phantom Gourmet Wine & Food Phest start at around $30 for early bird tickets, $40 online, and about $50 at the door. The event is 21+ and after sampling the best of Boston, you’re sure to discover a whole list of new favorites.
