TD Garden Information

TD Garden - Arena | Concert Venue in Boston.

A stone’s throw from the Zakim Bridge, TD Banknorth Garden is sacred ground for Boston sports. Home to the Celtics and the Bruins, the venue experiences a year-round influx of jersey-wearing fans, the only seasonal shift being whether they’re clad in green or yellow. The 19,600-seat arena, opened in 1995, stands ten stories high and houses three restaurants. Besides games, there are also concerts at TD Banknorth Garden – Aerosmith, Coldplay, and Jennifer Lopez are just a few of the performers who have rocked the stadium – as well as special events, such as Wrestlemania, the NCAA Women’s Final Four, and even the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Since the North Station Green Line stop is directly across the street, most city residents take the T. Besides being easier than finding parking, it also allows them to celebrate or drown their sorrows at the nearby bars after the game lets out. A word to the wise: get tickets early, because games at the TD Banknorth Garden often sell out.

Go Bruins!

What is there to say? If you are heading to the TD Garden you are probably going to watch your favorite sports team or rock band kick some butt! (I don't know the rules on profanity.) Sounds like a great time to me. Maybe I am a little bias but you seriously can't beat a Bruins Game! Their is nothing like watching a hard hitting, hockey game with 17,656 crazy fans! I have been to Celtics games where people were sleeping in the crowd. You WILL NOT find that at a Bruins game.

TD Garden, formerly known as the Fleet Center, is the central part of Boston. I remember attending a Celtics game there when I was a young girl. The experience was exhilarating! What took me by surprise is that just a year later, I went to see Monsters Inc. on ice in that same venue. I love how versatile it can be. Inside there are plenty of souvenirs that you can purchase and if you're on the go, they have fast food stations that you can buy from as well!
A True Boston Landmark

The TD Garden is a special place to any Bostonian. The Garden is a very useful facility because it holds many different sports games, concerts, and other large functions. Home to the Boston Bruins and Celtics, this is the place to see them live in action. There are plenty of places to eat right inside, and basically every seat is a good seat in there, even when your up in the balcony, the view is still impressive. The energy is intoxicating, especially when Boston is winning. As for concerts, the place totally transforms, and some big named artists have been known to perform there, like Britney Spears and Coldplay, which were amazing. It's easy location off of 93 and with North Station located in it makes traveling there extremely convenient. Love it!
