Dunkin' Donuts Center (Providence, RI) Arena

New Englanders are obsessed with Dunkin’ Donuts, so it’s only natural that Providence, Rhode Island’s mega 31,000-square-foot venue bears the name of the beloved coffee shop. The Dunkin’ Donuts Center, built in 1972, is the home of the AHL Providence Bruins and the Big East Providence College Friars, but since Bostonians are biased toward their own Bruins, they make the trip primarily to catch the events, trade shows, and other concerts at Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

Past performances at Dunkin’ Donuts Center include U2, the Jacksons, Phish, and the Grateful Dead. Important sporting events at Dunkin’ Donuts Center have included the first Big East men’s basketball tournament, the first Hockey East tournament, and several years of the Frozen Four championship. With a handful of garages directly across from the venue, parking at Dunkin’ Donuts Center is a breeze. If it’s a car-free journey, hop on the commuter rail at South Station to arrive in Providence in just over an hour.
