The Harvard Crimson is a Division I NCAA basketball team that plays games at Lavietes Pavilion in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The stadium was first opened in 1926 and has a seating capacity of 2,195 for Crimson basketball games. The Crimson plays in the Ivy League and has been defending opponents since 1900. The Crimson’s legacy on the court is mostly riddled with failure as the team’s history barely registers on the radar of conference championships or even NCAA tournament appearances. Some notable Crimson players include Jeremy Lin, Wyndol Gray, Arne Duncan, Tommy Ameker, Cem Dinc, and James Brown. Crimson basketball tickets aren’t the toughest to get, especially since the team’s performance is more often than not a letdown.
