Lowell Memorial Auditorium (Lowell, MA) Concert Venue / Music Venue / Performing Arts Center

Hosting a vast variety of events, including Broadway shows, dance performances, music concerts, lectures, and even boxing matches, the Lowell Memorial Auditorium has served as a multipurpose venue since 1920.

In its early days, the most popular event at Lowell Memorial Auditorium was a Bingo night, which nearly 3,000 people attended each week, and that garnered national attention through a feature in Life magazine. In the past few years, performances at Lowell Memorial Auditorium have included Sesame Street Live, the Boston Pops, Cake, Cats, Anthony Bourdain, and Bill Cosby.

The venue seats 3,000 people, and is located approximately 45 minutes outside of Boston. Several garages near the venue provide parking, and there is also metered street parking surrounding the building. The MBTA commuter rail shuttles concert attendees from North Station out to Lowell in about the same time it takes to drive, but as the station is about a mile away from the auditorium, extra time should be budgeted for walking.
