The Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA was named the highest grossing outdoor amphitheater of the 2000s by Billboard Magazine, and after taking a look at the past performers, it’s easy to see why.

Concerts at the Comcast Center have included Aerosmith, Korn, Jimmy Buffet, Oasis, The Who, Pearl Jam, and Radiohead, who have all appeared at the theater since its opening in 1986, with the 19,900-capacity being tested during each show. Snacks and beer are on sale, but the venue also allows guests to bring in their own gallon-sized bag of non-alcoholic provisions, and many patrons take advantage of this policy to save money.

Like many amphitheaters, both covered seats and lawn space are available. Most concertgoers drive to the theater, and drop their cars off in the parking lot early in order to hang out with friends before the show starts.
