Stage Bluemax Theater Theater

The Stage Bluemax Theater is located at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin’s Mitte district directly across the street from its larger sister theater, also run by Stage Entertainment, the Stage Theater at Potsdamer Platz.

The Bluemax Theater got its name from the highly successful New York performance troupe the Blue Man Group. In 2004 the Blue Man Group opened at the Stage Theater at Potsdamer Platz, but by 2007 it was so successful that the city decided to convert and rename the IMAX theater across the street into a permanent venue for the troupe.

The Blue Man Group performs its show at the venue every day except Monday. The Berlin production of the show uses material specific to Berlin, but also includes the Group’s signature acts that involve paint, light, drumming and other weird and unique musical instruments.

Capacity at the Bluemax Theater is 600.
