Columbia Halle Concert Venue

With its aging façade and matte exterior, unassuming passersby could easily mistake Columbia Halle for an abandoned school gymnasium. But past the simple “Columbia” sign looming over the three iconic metal doors is one of the hottest music halls on the planet.

The ultra-modern interior consists of a sprawling floor level that extends up to the stage, and deep second story balconies, all in all capable of stuffing in over 3,500 fans into the world-class shows. The acoustics here pack a serious punch, and a high ceiling allows for dazzling lightshows bursting from the metal scaffolding that runs the length of the roof. Shows at Columbia Halle are known to get hot and sweaty, but two bars and an outdoor drinking garden provide excellent opportunities to cool off and refuel.

Opened in 1998, the music venue has been bringing in some of the world’s most exciting performers ever since. Artists have included Interpol, Skrillex, deadmau5, and Snoop Dogg.
