Party Earth Review: Zu mir oder zu dir sets a playful tone for a carefree evening in a chic lounge – after all, the name translates to “To my place or yours.” Low, comfy sofas and armchairs provide contrast to the bright wallpaper and colorful flower-filled vases, creating a distinct 70s flair with a low-key trendy vibe. The strategically positioned couches make it easy to chat with other patrons and the photos of musicians and lovers that adorn the walls purposefully serve as great conversation starters. And no doubt a few awkward conversation enders. Given its distinct living-room feel, it’s no surprise that the venue often serves as a meetup point for friends before they head to one of the nearby clubs, not to mention a place for making new acquaintances with whom to share a night (and perhaps a following morning) on the town. The bar starts filling up around 9pm as its stylish and attractive clientele pours in to enjoy the eclectic music and generous cocktails, though the open-ended hours and convenient location have also made it a popular late-night destination for clubbers looking for one last round. Either way Zu mir oder zu dir’s cozy atmosphere and chill air help ensure guests will have a great time – even if they go home alone.
