Party Earth Review: A must for any wine lover, Wein-Salon is an intimate, upscale, slightly alternative lounge in a residential area of Friedrichshain. The rustic wooden bar with its display of fine wines dominates the front room, while the back room features an ever-changing exhibit of modern art and a perpetually busy pool table. The dark green walls and red candles of the side room create a funky version of a Victorian parlor where locals congregate to savor their wine over a civilized game of chess. As the sun sets, the staff lights the candles that cover every surface of the lounge, adding an air of intimacy and intrigue to this quaint neighborhood hangout. The bar’s location off the beaten track, its relaxed atmosphere, and the welcoming patrons make Wein-Salon a perfect spot whether guests are in a group, on a date, or going solo. ... read full review |

“Wine, art, and good conversation – and since the people are really outgoing and welcoming, you don’t have to be shy about going alone. They’ve also got a pool table – and it’s free!”
