The roots of BLUES music come from Africa. The slaves from Africa brought their own music with them when they came to America, and from a mixture of of that, and the music which was there already, the Blues came into being. Later, from the Blues, came the development of Jazz, Soul, Folk, modern Rock and Pop music.Today, in Europe, the blues are very popular and throughout the different cultures to be found in Europe, the music has developed many new faces and forms.Europe Blues Train festival presents a fine selection of both popular regional artists and also those from neighboring countries.
