Party Earth Review: It may look like a hole in the wall from the outside, but inside, Cassiopeia has transformed a former factory into a stylish, alternative club complex that retains the old industrial rusticity of East Berlin. The cavernous structure, located past the front gate and on the left side of the courtyard, houses dance floors on two levels where DJs play different music styles that vary with the night. Although the popular club attracts a large alternative crowd on its own, Cassiopeia’s true distinction is that it also offers day and evening activities like rock climbing, skateboarding, dining, and outdoor movie screenings. Besides the impressive climbing wall and the skate park with its half-pipe, Cassiopeia has also taken advantage of the open courtyard to set up a beer garden in the shade of the leafy trees. In warm weather, droves of bohemian types gather there to share a beer and conversation or, after sunset, to catch an independent film at the Freiluft Kino (outdoor theater). Cassiopeia offers a lot of easygoing fun as a club, but as a day/night entertainment complex, it is truly exceptional.

Sommerbar is an outdoor grill serving sausages, burgers, and snacks daily from 4pm. Kegel Café serves light fare during the day.

Club cover charge €5, live music cover charge €6–€10. Skateboarding day pass €5, rock climbing day pass with rentals €10/1 person, €15/2 people. Outdoor movies €6.50 or €5.50 with student discount.
