Palau Municipal d'Esports de Badalona, more frequently referred to as Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona, is a basketball arena located at Carrer Ponent, 143-161 in Badalona, Spain and is home to the Spanish basketball team Joventut de Badalona, also known as “La Penya”. The arena was built in 1991 to replace the 3,300 seat Pavelló dels Països Catalans. Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona was designed by architects Esteve Bonell and Francesc Rius who won the 1992 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture for this building.
Games and other events at Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona can accommodate up to 12,500 spectators. The indoor arena is decorated throughout with La Penya's colors, green and black. Although basketball games at Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona are its primary function, concerts and municipal events are also held at Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona on occasion.
