Music Venues in Barcelona

In a city known for its round-the-clock partying, the citizens of Barcelona are constantly looking for new things to do and places to go, and as a result, there is no shortage of music venues in Barcelona that cater to crowds looking for everything from the biggest stars in the world and top-of-the-line DJs, to folk artists and rockers looking to break their bones on smaller stages.

Seeing a show inside one of the many Barcelona music venues isn’t much different than other major cities as there are enormous arenas and stadiums filled with A-list talent, to tiny venues with wannabes and up-and-comers.

The grandest music venues are Palau Sant Jordi, Camp Nou, and Pavello Olimpic de Badalona. On any night, these massive live stages play host to Top 40 chart toppers, rappers, rock-gods, name DJs, solo artists, and global superstars.

Beyond the big name establishments, Barcelona has a plethora of great smaller and midsize venues with everything from jazz clubs and salsa spots, to classical performance stages that bring in those with more distinguished tastes.

There’s also no shortage of live stages with more intimate surroundings. Smaller joints like Electric Bar and Sidecar Factory play host to budding stars, solo artists, on-the-rise starlets, and more in neighborhoods all over town.
