Right on the beach with inspiring views of the Mediterranean lies the Carpe Diem Lounge Club, a Balinese haven for relaxation and serenity.

A large Buddha statue meditates outside on the deck overlooking the sea, while guests lie on beds at its base sipping tea, wine, and cocktails and enjoying the same astounding view.

As exquisite as it already sounds, it only gets better inside where there’s an entire wall lined with more pristine white beds with fluffy pillows upon which patrons can stretch out or even create their own private nook by pulling the white satin curtains around them.

The atmosphere is so serene and dreamlike, it’s almost surprising not to see servants fanning the patrons with palm fronds.

By night, the lounge livens up substantially as customers rouse themselves enough to fill the dance floor, and well-heeled jet-setters arrive for an al fresco dinner and several rounds of cocktails on the terrace.

Later in the evening, the numbers swell with the influx of hip locals and international clubbers who have made it past the selective doormen.

With an ambiance that has to be experienced to be believed, Carpe Diem Lounge Club will – as the Latin translation of its name suggests – leave all guests ready to Seize The Day…or maybe just another pillow.
