Yes, you heard us right. We aren’t tackling the coolest places in one city (which is hard enough), nor in one country, but in the entire continent, which consists of what we can only guess is a bazillion bars.

Not only is socializing over drinks a vital element of the European culture, but also a major attraction for travelers and young residents who hop from country to country treating all four million square miles of the continent as their playground of debauchery.

Needless to say, there’s a lot of demand for mind-altering liquids. Our economists have informed us that high demand means high supply, which in Party Earth language translates to lots and lots of bars (turns out our bazillion estimate wasn’t far off). We’re talking cocktail lounges, pubs, jazz joints, rowdy dives, snazzy watering holes, and raucous bars full of Aussies looking to get blitzed – wait, that’s every bar in Europe. Seriously, who is running Australia between May and September?

Anyway, we crunched the data – and cans of beer – in search of the ultra cool, where the trendiest of patrons enjoy topnotch drinks while mingling among unique settings, and we found our answers. After a drumroll and a game of drawing straws to designate the scapegoat who’ll be thrown to the angry mob of upset readers that disagree with us (sorry, Joe, you were a good junior analyst), we present to you the coolest bars in Europe.
