12 European Clubs You Have To See To Believe

This Is Your New Clubbing Bucket List

Space in Ibiza.

Space in Ibiza.

Jul 21, 2012 —  Lists, regardless of the subject, are always controversial. Whether it’s the top ten worst uses of a flammable object or the best five monster movies ever (#1 obviously being Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus), there isn’t a single list out there everyone can agree on. So you can imagine our apprehension here at Party Earth when we attempted to classify the coolest clubs in an entire continent! Especially Europe, which has more clubs than the London riots police squad.

We aren’t saying that an insane, all-night club scene is solely responsible for attracting millions of visitors every year, but the fact that the island of Ibiza stays afloat (metaphorically speaking) with that strategy suggests we are on to something. Sure, the historic sites are inspiring, the landscapes are breathtaking, and the restaurants are incredible, but when it comes to partying, the clubs in Europe are a destination unto themselves.

You could find yourself raving in an abandoned power plant with your favorite electro DJ, throwing back bottles of Belvedere with an Armani-clad A-lister, or stumbling out onto a beach at sunrise while still in your stilettos. Whatever your tastes, an evening of wild memories at one of Europe’s nightclubs is an essential element of the European experience.

So whether you’re a backpacker ready to finally take a shower and hit the town, a jetsetter wanting to show off the spoils of a day of designer shopping, or a local looking to expand your horizons, we fought, scraped, clawed, and argued till we came up with the coolest European clubs that you'll never forget.

    Pacha

    Club

    Pacha - Club in Ibiza.
Definitely the glitziest and most fashionable of the island’s clubs, Pacha also holds the distinction of being the only one open all year round. But like every other venue on the island, the club really shines in the summer when lines of stylish patrons are still filing in at 5am hoping to see and be seen. The club

    Club

Micca Club - Club in Rome.
Once an enormous wine cellar, Micca Club has turned the winding passages and tunnels of its underground space into a swanky burlesque and swing dancing club unlike any venue in the city. An impressive spiral staircase leads impeccably dressed guests down to the maze of brick rooms, which feature the original high vaulted ceilings, arches, and giant

La Terrrazza - Club in Barcelona.
Don’t expect to raise the roof at La Terrrazza, because there isn’t one – this gorgeous mountaintop castle has been converted into a club where a stylish clientele dances between the castle walls illuminated only by strobe lights and the stars above. The club is housed in Poble Espanyol, a one-of-a-kind artificial village

Marked by flashing lights and colors emanating from the windows above the Billa supermarket, Dogado may be a surprising find in this otherwise sleepy area – but rest assured that the venue is a bona fide late-night club that doesn’t close its doors until 4am. Karol Wiśniewski May 15, 2013 I recommended ROYAL NIGHT CLUB in SOPOT (POLAND). Amazing atmosphere, tasteful design, beautiful dancers made me and my friends have a great time during the whole night. I encourage everyone to visit this club, especially if you want to experience something unforgettable. If you like to dance with charming and beautiful dancers, and you want to experience a thrill of pleasure - our club is perfectly for you. I give you my strong recommendation
Jimmy D Aug 16, 2012 Joy! Hands down. Love the open multi floor layout. The place feels like its floating when it gets going full speed.
Sridevi Reddy Jul 30, 2012 Pacha has been on my to-do list forever.. looks so awesome!!
Daniel Hogan Jul 27, 2012 Tiesto at Pacha is going to be INSANE! Can't wait to go back to Europe and check these places out.
Sara Gunther Jul 26, 2012 Micca sounds awesome. Nothing like mixing drinks, dancing, and Italian history...
akiley Jul 26, 2012 These look so fun! I'm definitely adding all of them to my clubbing bucket list when I go to Europe.
Sam Altman Jul 26, 2012 Pacha in Ibiza is the best. Great vibe and more intimate than the mega clubs. Beautiful patio as well. Just be careful not to hop over the railing. My buddy did this and a less than entertaining confrontation with the bouncer ensued.
nishashah Jul 26, 2012 Eric Prydz performed at the Ministry of Sound in April! His set was incredible and the crowd was loving it. Make your way up to the VIP lounge area for a great view of the stage.
