Art on the walls at the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam.

Jun 3, 2012 — Amsterdam is a beer-drinking city where an infinite selection of old and new bars dole out local and regional brews for their thirsty patrons. After-all this is the city of Heineken and Amstel, and Amsterdammers take full advantage of their hometown brews.
Brown bars and pubs dominate the scene and provide a setting where people are clearly into partying, pub crawling, and indulging in endless rounds of beer.
This is especially true during any big match, when fans down pint after pint with the hooligans from near and far that run amok in the Red Light District, or with fellow enthusiasts at one of the many sports bars that line Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein.
