Party Earth Green House Review

Winner of over thirty Cannabis Cup awards, Green House has a stellar reputation for both its quality products and the inviting atmosphere in each of its four Amsterdam locations.

The original coffeeshop on Oude Zijds, which displays its successes in a full-size trophy case, has also become a magnet for celebrities, as attested to by the Wall of Fame photos of the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Kate Moss, and Mike Tyson.

Certainly part of Green House’s allure is the earthy décor punctuated with unique details like shiny marbles, speckled stones, glass mosaics, and glossy wood fixtures. Chairs and benches cushioned with soft pillows in warm tones, as well as the long, curving coffee bar, complete the look to create an attractive and soothing vibe.

With its open, laid-back, and informative staff and easygoing patrons, Green House will quickly grow on anyone looking for a positive coffeeshop experience.

But no matter how many fish in the floor, it still feels so empty when you don't smoke more.

Did you ever wonder where do celebrities go when they visit Amsterdam? Well, me neither, but I can say for sure, Greenhouse on Haarlemmerstraat is one of them. The moment you enter you can easily see why Greenhouse is one of the big players when it comes to coffeeshops. One of the most spacious cannabis cafes in Amsterdam strikes you with its ubiquitous, pleasant yellow colour. Once you get to the wees counter, you know it's gonna take a while to figure out what you want. Yes, a plethora of Cannabis Cup winning marijuana, hash and seed strands to choose from will keep you occupied for a couple of moments, but it is definitely worth it. You'll know it when you light up the first joint. When you're done, you'll probably get the munchies, but have no fear. The kitchen is well equipped with fresh vegetables and meat everyday. The only thing older than one day coming out of the kitchen is the staff. The cooks are amazing and whatever delicious magic they make you, beautiful and smiling waitresses will bring it to your table when you're nailed to your comfy seat by your bag'o'weed. But what makes Greenhouse so special? What makes it one of the big fish in the sea of Amsterdam coffeeshops? Well, tens of thousands euro worth of rare fish in a tank located in the floor is one thing. But it is the names like Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Jason Mraz, Kevin Spacey or Mike Tyson that make this coffeeshop one of the most popular in the city. So if you want to have a good time with everything a smoker needs, Greenhouse is a must-go. But be sure you or one of your friends don't go 'Holy skit! It's Cypress Hill!'.
A must-try coffeeshop

Greenhouse is one of my favorite coffeeshops in Amsterdam. It is situated next to the canal in the heart of Amsterdam and you can enjoy the terrace on summer nights. The atmosphere is very chill to smoke. The owners are welcoming and give good advice in choosing the different products the consumers want to buy. Tourists or regulars are here for a good time and everyone is on the same pace. I recommend Greenhouse for anyone that wants to smoke in peace or just come with friends. They have good music, drinks and food as well as comfortable seats. Locals and tourists mingle there because it is a great place to have a good time with friends.
A genuine coffeeshop experience

I think the first coffeeshop in Amsterdam I warmed up to was Greenhouse. Every one of them seem to have such a soothing vibe. I think it really become my big recommendation when I met the owner, a handsome Dutch guy who seems to really know his product and his business. His room was full of relics from places he'd traveled to when looking at growing fields, particular cultures, etc. He's a huge guy, but very down to earth and relaxed when it comes to attention from the media. I take that as a good sign of an owner who's confident in what he does and offers consumers.
