Description

Cleverly disguised by its 17th-century façade, Odeon is one of Amsterdam’s hottest clubs and offers enough theatrical environments to keep its well-dressed, multicultural clientele occupied for hours.

Since 1622, the historical building has been used as a brewery, concert hall, auction house, and cinema, and many of its past architectural details still grace the inside of this immense and beautiful multilevel space.

To the left of the entrance are the Red, Gold, and Green rooms, which feature wall-sized paintings and photographs of beautiful models and can be reserved for private dinners, meetings, and cocktail parties.

Once patrons wind their way through the art deco hallways, they’ll find the main stairwell that leads to the club on the top floor, where the soaring ceilings and amazing depth can be visually overwhelming.

The club itself is decked out in chic red curtains, sleek black bars, and a sound system with enough bass to shake the building.

The DJs spin house music hits on an elevated stage in front of a huge video screen, and the balcony bar offers an astounding perspective of the dance floor as well as red velvet couches from which to enjoy the view.

Plenty of other theme rooms offer different vibes, from a silky Persian paradise to a stunningly sexy restaurant that converts into a slick cocktail bar in the evening.

Odeon’s diverse and unpretentious clientele makes it a great place to mix and flirt in the many sexy lounge areas or let loose and dance all night to house and R&B hits.
