Escape Club - Nightclub in Amsterdam.

Escape Club is the largest nightspot in Amsterdam, located on the Rembrandtplein. Opened in 1986, the venue has gone through three major transformations and is now one of the most popular clubs in the Amsterdam party scene.

The 2,000-person club features the newest technologies in sound, lighting, and visuals. Events at Escape Club include live DJ shows, exclusive parties, and weekly club nights, such as Reveal on Thursdays and Framebusters on Saturdays.

Past concerts at Escape Club include performances by internationally renowned DJs Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Fedde le Grand, Bob Sinclar, and Paul van Dyk.

Directly next to Escape Club lays Escape Caffé, which offers guests drinks and dinner.

Lin Xie Feb 18, 2013 2.0 stars European Music & Asian Atmosphere The atmosphere and internal construction is very Asian and mordern style whlie typical electroninc music is flooding over in the hall. I saw people standing high up on the stage, waving their hands and body freely just like any other clubs. Only the mazy spotlights differentiate Escape from other typical dutch clubs a little bit . Medium level of recomemdation.
Audrey Sykes Dec 4, 2012 1.0 stars Overrated and money sucker for tourists Escape is the club that clueless corporate companies like to throw their party nights out at. It's also where the really clueless tourists get in their flashiest garb and stand in line for, because it's the only big obvious club at Rembrandtplein. And they have marketing skills in guidebooks I guess. I've been there twice, and both times I couldn't wait to leave. The last time I was with a group of European girls who wouldn't stop watching themselves dance in front of mirrored walls against the flashy lights and strobes. I don't know anything about electronic music, so no comment there, but the place and the people who go there give me the creeps.
Lauren Trainer Nov 27, 2012 2.0 stars mediocre After hearing a lot about Escape, I expected it to be much better. It was pricey to get into and ended up being not that crowded. The music wasn't the best to dance to, personally, and it is mainly a tourist scene. I was pretty disappointed by Escape because I had high hopes, but it is a very pretty, large, and well-run club. The atmosphere is nice. It is located in the Rembrantplein, which is a pretty lively location with many bars and restaurants.
